Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities and Internships
GrowNYC Greenmarkets, Fresh Food Boxes, and Farmstands remain open as essential food access points for all New Yorkers. Regularly scheduled volunteer opportunities at GrowNYC have been postponed until further notice due to COVID-19, at this time we are only in need of volunteers to assist GrowNYC Staff as they implement required safety protocols. If you are willing and able, we welcome your help as we work to support farmers and create safe food access for New Yorkers.
Looking for corporate or individual volunteer opportunities at GrowNYC? Head over to our volunteer page. GrowNYC has many opportunities for volunteers to dig in and improve New York City's environment block by block and community by community. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
Please register for one-off volunteer opportunities here.
Are you part of a corporate group interested in volunteering? Get more info.
Is your dream internship not listed here? Contact us! GrowNYC offers project-specific experiential internships (or for academic credit with prior institutional approval), as available. Please use our contact form to tell us about your internship idea. Include information about your interests, skills, education, and which program(s) you’d be interested in working with.
