Las Delicias, Driver & Greenmarket Sales
Las Delicias Patisserie is a boutique artisanal bakery producing high-end pastries baked with the finest locally-sourced ingredients. We pay careful attention to achieve the perfect balance between them so that their flavors and textures don’t overpower each other but work together. The Greenmarket Driver & Sales Associate is the person responsible for the getting the pastries to and from the market from our production facility. It is the Greenmarket Driver & Sales Associate responsibility to perform the setup and break down of our Greenmarket stand, our
face to the world. You need communicate with the office and share information with staff when relevant. Promoting our products and Inventory control at the end of the day’s market closing is a key focus of the Greenmarket Sales.
- Pick up our van from our kitchen, load the products in an organized and safe manner.
- Daily set-up and break down at the Greenmarket, ensuring compliance with Greenmarket policies and safe food handling practices when dispensing the products.
- Cash and Inventory control and reporting.
- Display of products according to our guidelines.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work under all weather conditions and to be on your feet for 10-12 hours

We are looking for people to work with us from the ground up to introduce our products “1857 Spirits” to a new audience. Job Description:
Someone to run our 10 x 10 stall at the Union Square Greenmarket. We are staffing for Monday, Wednesday and Fridays throughout the year.
Tasks include:
6:30 AM -Setting up canopy, signage, product and tasting display.
7:00 AM to 6:00 PM – Greeting customers and presenting/selling products.
6:00 PM to 6:30 PM – Break down of stall
Salary will be based on experience.

Sun Fed Beef, Market Sales
Sun Fed Beef and Pork is hiring a market seller. We are a third generation family farm that raises grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork in Earlville, NY. In addition, we sell grass-fed milk, pastured chicken, rabbits and grass-fed lamb. We sell at the GrowNYC Greenmarkets year-round. As a market seller you would be the interface between our 1200 acres of pasture and the thousands of New York City residents who trust us in supplying ethically and sustainably raised animals. Cato Corner Farm, LLC, Farmers’ Market Cheese Sales Person
Cato Corner Farm, a family-owned dairy farm making award-winning cheeses, is seeking a personable, motivated individual to help sell cheese. Primary responsibilities include: Sell cheese at the busy Union Square and/or Grand Army Plaza Greenmarkets, NYC, Saturdays year round, Educate customers about our farm and our cheese. Represent our products and our philosophy to customers. Hours: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. every Saturday at the Union Square Farmers’ Market. Starting Salary: $14/hour. The markets run every Saturday all year, rain or shine & cold or hot! Applicants should be available year round until at least New Year’s 2018. Experience and Skills: Applicants should be enthusiastic, intelligent, and articulate with excellent people skills. Fishkill Farms is a 270 acre Organic and Eco Apple vegetable and fruit farm in East Fishkill, NY, marketing produce at our year-round Farm Store, Pick-Your-Own, 400-member CSA, farmer’s markets, and some wholesale. Spring through Fall, the farm provides family friendly pick-your-own fun, with thousands of visitors a day.
Vegetable Harvest Manager: coordinates and organizes the weekly vegetable harvest, lead a harvest crew of eight, and allocate produce to each outlet every week, and general vegetable production work. This is a full time, year-round position, hours range from less than 40/week during the winter to over 60/week during the main season.
Vegetable Production Team Member: participates in every aspect of planting, growing, harvesting, storage and sales. A fun and challenging position for those with previous farming experience. Ample learning opportunities for crew members.
Farmers Market Manager: oversees all aspects of year round local and NYC markets. An ambassador of the farm who creates a welcoming retail experience. Trains and manages 10+ city and local market workers. Develops and communicates new display and market strategies. Involved in ordering, packing shed and harvest duties, packing and maintiaining supplies for markets, keeping market sales records.
Farmers Market Crew Memberambassadors of the farm at various farmers markets, and create a welcoming, informative and enjoyable shopping experience for the general public. Farmers Market Crew Members work closely with the Farmers Market Manager to set up, attend and break down the weekly farmers markets at various locations.
