Manager

Originally from a sleepy Connecticut town, where her parents own a natural and organic grocery store, Lucinda moved to the big city five years ago by way of Boston. She is excited to be returning to her local-farming, community-building, small-business roots with GrowNYC this season. Lucinda loves cooking, searching out delicious new foods, and making sure you’re eating your fruits and veggies. When she’s not at the markets, Lucinda can be found coddling her herb and vegetable plants on her Brooklyn roof deck.

EBT Coordinator

Henrietta Koffi is originally from the Bronx, went to high school in Massachusetts, college in Virginia, and worked for many years as a yearbook photographer, where she traveled as far as Mankato, Minnesota in the middle of winter, an experience she never wants to repeat. During the week she teaches computers usage to job seekers, and also does some grant writing for the Fort Greene SNAP program. At the Fort Greene Greenmarket, not far from where she lives, Henrietta is the EBT Coordinator. As a city girl, Henrietta doesn't know a lot about farms and organic food, or even jobs that don't involve a desk and paper clips, but she's learning fast. Henrietta has found that standing in the middle of a vibrant Greenmarket early on a sunny Saturday morning just makes her very, very happy.
