Delia Rollow grew up in Boston, MA, riding bikes all over the city. She moved to New York for college, where she started growing vegetables in buckets on her rooftop and fire escape while working at a bicycle shop. She left New York city in 2010 to learn about small-scale organic farming in Massachusetts (still large-scale compared to a fire-escape!), and worked at a farm school in the Catskills before coming back to the city to work with organic and environmentally-friendly farmers from all over the surrounding bioregion in the Greenmarkets.
