Grow to Learn NYC, the Citywide School Gardens Initiative, was established in 2010 as a public-private partnership between GrowNYC, the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, and several government agency partners, with a mission to inspire, promote and facilitate the creation of sustainable gardens in public schools throughout New York City.
Grow to Learn serves as a one-stop shop for school gardens activities across the city and we collaborate with government agencies, non-profits, private corporations, teachers, schools, parents, kids and individuals who impact or want to support public school gardens.
