Market Guest Tabling Request

Due to COVID-19 concerns, GrowNYC is not currenlty accepting applications to table at Greenmarkets during the 2020 season.

From time to time, Greenmarket allows organizations aligned with our mission to conduct promotional activity as market guests.
Market guests may distribute information and literature, and talk to customers; guests cannot sell services, memberships, or merchandise, nor can guests solicit donations. Click here if you want to sell in our markets.
Guests must bring any equipment needed (e.g. tables and chairs); we do not provide equipment, electricity, or facilities.

If approved, you will need to provide
1) hard copies or PDFs of any materials, and samples of any giveaways, you wish to distribute while at market,
2) your Certificate of Insurance showing:
a) at minimum $3 million dollars in general liability coverage (more may be required, depending on what activity you wish to conduct in market),
b) “Council on the Environment Inc., GrowNYC, Greenmarket, the City of New York, Greenmarket Staff, Customers, and Participants, are additional insured as their interests may appear with respect to participation in the [Market Name] Greenmarket on [Date]."
c) Certificate Holder as Council on the Environment Inc. GrowNYC, Greenmarket, 100 Gold Street, Suite 3300, New York, NY 10038

Describe what you wish to do at the market. Be detailed and include how you will be promoting your organization/business at the market e.g. flyers, business cards, word of mouth, demonstrations, etc.

As New York City and State responds to COVID-19, we want to update you on the steps we are taking--and recommending to you--to maintain GrowNYC Greenmarkets, Farmstands, and Fresh Food Box sites as vital community spaces in this time of uncertainty.

  • Food Access & Agriculture

Our network of Greenmarket farmers markets, Youthmarkets, Fresh Food Box pick-ups, and Greenmarket Co. ensures that all New Yorkers have access to the freshest, healthiest local food.

  • Conservation

We provide food scrap drop-offs, clothing collections, Stop 'N' Swap® community reuse events, and zero waste trainings to make resource conservation easy for all.

  • Green Space

We build and rejuvenate community & school gardens in all 5 boroughs, and support even more gardens through volunteer days, technical assistance, school garden grants, & more.

  • Education

We foster future environmental stewards by providing 66,000 children each year with programs that provide meaningful interactions with the natural environment.
