GrowNYC is providing comprehensive support for residents and building operations teams to participate in NYC’s mandatory Curbside Composting program! Our dedicated team is offering the education and technical assistance necessary to make composting an integral part of a building’s waste management strategy. 

We're supporting buildings with 10 or more units in the Bronx, Brooklyn, or Manhattan by providing free support until June 2025 to set up and keep a successful composting system. This includes:

• On-site assessments of waste sorting and collection areas

• Assistance in setting up collection spaces

• Training for building staff

• Information sessions and workshops for residents
