Corporate Volunteer Projects with GrowNYC

GrowNYC works with corporate groups of any size on outdoor volunteer projects all across New York City.

Building urban farms, planting in community gardens, and starting new school gardens are all projects that GrowNYC's corporate volunteers have tackled.

Whether it be planting flowers or tackling a construction project like building wooden garden beds, our staff will work with your company on designing a volunteer day that is engaging, educational, and fun!

COVID-19 updates: GrowNYC is offering safe, distanced, outdoor volunteer projects.  GrowNYC is providing PPE for all volunteers and socially distancing as appropriate.

Volunteer Highlights

GrowNYC's corporate volunteering program worked with more than 4,300 volunteers in 2019, putting in 17,000 hours at 25 different gardens across the city. These volunteers worked on building brand new gardens, refurbishing old gardens, working at our spring plant sale, building rainwater harvesting systems, and much much more.

Altogether, GrowNYC build 10 brand new community gardens in 2019, giving the city 136,000 square feet of new green space for growing food, community meetings, and youth development.

For over 50 years, we have believed that everyone can make a positive impact and that collective action is necessary to secure a clean & healthy environment for future generations.

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations to support our work - please consider making a donation to support GrowNYC.
