Inclement weather in the city or in the greater region does affect markets;  markets may close early, or farmers may not be able to make it into the city.

If there are changes to the market schedule due to inclement weather, this blog post will be information central for up-to-the-minute schedule changes.

GrowNYC's 2018 Plant Sale is Here!

March 6, 2018
Posted in Community Gardens

The 2018 Annual Spring Plant Sale is made possible by the generous support of Wells Fargo.

GrowNYC's Annual Spring Plant Sale, which we've been running since 1986, is a great way for community gardens, schools, block associations, churches, and any other group greening project to purchase vegetable, herb, and flowering plants grown by local Greenmarket farmers at wholesale prices.

Our Plant Sale takes place over 5 days in late April/early May - 3 days at Hattie Carthan Community Garden in Brooklyn and 2 days at College Avenue Garden in the Bronx.  The sale is pre-order only, and orders must be in by April 13th.
