Previously located beneath the World Trade Center, the World Financial Center Greenmarket continues to serve families, commuters, and visitors in Lower Manhattan’s bustling financial district with fresh and delicious offerings grown by local family farms. Nestled among market classics like apples and cider are surprising finds like sweet spring broccoli raab, baby Japanese turnips, and microbatch sour cherry juice. Bring a friend and join us for regular cooking demonstrations, free recipes, and more throughout the season.

Kathleen Crosby is an actor, graphic designer, baker and local food enthusiast. Born and raised in Virginia, she is thrilled to be going back to her roots, her formidable years growing up on a farm raising goats and eating from vegetable gardens. She is a baker at a Brooklyn pie shop, an avid biker, and takes the term “slow food” a bit too literally as she often procrastinates by cooking complicated meals. She is proud to be a part of such an important organization that sustains local, ethical farming practices and improves the health and vitality of our communities.
