Pick up provisions for a picnic in the park or stock your larder with these locally grown staples.

Music at the Market
This Saturday the Stranger’s Gate Greenmarket will be the opening act for the Central Park conservancy's Jazz fest on the hill. We will have music playing all day to get you in the mood for picnicking and swing dancing!
Bread Alone: Artisan breads, mostly certified Organic, and pastries from Ulster County, NY.
John D Madura Farm: Vegetables from Orange County, NY.
Red Jacket Orchards: Apples, plums, cherries, apricots, peaches, berries from Ontario County, NY.
Toigo Orchards: Orchard fruit from Cumberland County, PA.
Georgea is from Tampa, FL and has been living in New York state for 3+ years. She graduated from the Culinary Institute of America with a bachelors degree in restaurant management in 2010. While there she studied culinary arts and the role of restaurants in food systems. She gained interest in working with Greenmarket because of the opportunity to see many different varieties of produce and local products while learning more about local food systems.
