The first RWH system in a NYC public school wasinstalled by GrowNYC staff in spring 2008. Water is collected in a 200gallon tank from a 10ft X 20 ft shade structure built by HSNY's greenTeam in the school's courtyard garden. This system was supported by aWaterworks 2008 grant from Organic Gardening magazine.
