This dual use garden features a Lots-for-Tots playground and is used throughout the year for community gardening activities. Events includea variety of cultural and musical festivals. The playground is used daily by children from the Leggett Day Care Center, sponsored by Union Settlement. This expansive vegetable garden includes a large vine covered pergola, an amphitheater with an oval stage, water play fountain, perennial borders, mural and fruit trees. It is has been designated a Great Public Space by the Project for Public Spaces.
