In addition to hosting the market, the hospital provides crucial support with information tables and health screenings. With cooking demonstrations and recipes offering guidance on how to cook well with the fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables available, shoppers will find endless inspiration to cook healthy meals comprised of the region's most nutritious and flavorful produce.

Manager

Allison is a long-time foodie and gardener, first developing her passion for local foods as the founding member of an organic garden at her high school in Delaware. Allison has traveled on over 5 continents and worked in gardens on 3: she has chased pigs in the Tuscan countryside, harvested bananas in India, and discovered the wonders of kale in the tundra known as Minnesota. Before working with Greenmarkets, Allison was a student at Macalester College, where she completed a BA in Anthropology and Environmental Studies. When not at market, Allison can be found fanatically knitting, pondering religion, or searching for ground cherries.
