Progressive Mexican cuisine by Chef Sue Torres of Sueos and Nortea music by El Dueto los Compadres.

Also featuring guest chefs Jacques Gautier of Palo Santo, John Keller of Viktor & Spoils, and Joseph Macchia of Vynl NYC.

Get ready to be inspired by four of New York City's most innovative Latin chefs who will prepare regional Mexican cuisine with local ingredients at beautiful Sueos restaurant in Chelsea headed by chef Sue Torres. Dance to rollicking Nortea music performed by NFDP farmer Fily Angels El Dueto los Compadres. And sip a sublime Mezcal cocktail or have a glass of wine while you peruse the silent auction, which will include everything from CSA shares of unique Mexican produce to a cooking class and sangria lunch for 8 with visionary chef Torres.

And the best part is, you'll be doing it for the immigrant farmers working to strengthen our regional food system. All proceeds from the event will go directly to helping NFDP farmers recover from the severe damage wrought by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee, which devastated over 50% of NFDP farmers' crops. You'll be able to talk to NFDP farmers and learn more about how the New Farmer Development Project has helped to 22 families establish new farms in the region over the past ten years. Check our website for more information and to see a short video about the project.

Tickets to the event are $75 and are available here.

We hope to see you there!
