After years of daydreaming about living in New York City, Lisa Fine finally made the move to Manhattan this past summer. She first jumped into farming in college during a summer on an organic farm in upstate New York. Since then, Lisa has found ways to incorporate farm fresh growing, teaching, and eating into her days, including teaching farm education at Hawthorne Valley Farm, fundraising to create a senior center garden in Vermont, and writing a blog inspired by the local food movement. Lisa is really excited to be part of such an incredible organization, and to be taking on her dream job in New York City.
