Located along an entrance to Elmhurst hospital, neighbors flock to this bastion of local produce to shop for orchard fruit picked at its peak of ripeness, hearty vegetables grown in the nutrient-rich soil of Orange County's "Black Dirt" region, and excellent freshly baked bread, pastries and granola. Whether stopping to pick up flowers as a get well gift, or filling a market basket with fresh food, the Elmhust Greenmarket functions as an icon of healthy living, offering recipes and cooking demonstrations to entice even the most timid of eaters and home cooks.

Manager

Claire is originally from Boulder, Colorado.  She has a degree in environmental studies, French, and creative writing from Franklin College Switzerland.  She is looking forward to eating five times her weight in stone fruit this summer, which is her first with Greenmarket.
