The 57th Street Greenmarket, long a fixture of Balsley Park, serves Hell’s Kitchen and Midtown West the freshest seasonal food from local farms. Look for high quality and affordably priced vegetables, juicy seasonal fruit, and a rainbow of plants, flowers, and herbs for your windowsill or back yard garden. Farmstead cheese, fresh eggs, and plump baked goods round out the offerings.

COOKING WITH THE LOCALS: 57th St Greenmarket now seeks neighbors to volunteer to cook their favorite simple market-based dish at the market for our “Cooking with the Locals” program!  If you are an interested home chef willing to volunteer a few hours to cook your dish at market, email alampert@greenmarket.grownyc.org for more information.  Greenmarket provides equipment and ingredients.

RAFFLE: Stop by the market information table at 57th St & 9th Ave every market day and enter the raffle.  We’ll draw a winner every month for a free reusable bag filled with fresh, local market goodies from our farmers.
